Quiet machinery for your lifecycle.
You've got a list. You've got a CRM. You've got a website. They don't talk to each other. We build the flows — welcome, nurture, cart, post-purchase, winback — that turn a list into a system that compounds while you sleep.
Automation problems we fix.
Three patterns we see in nearly every automation engagement — and what we actually do about them.
Our email list is huge but we never send to it.
What we do. Welcome + nurture flow first. Suddenly your list pays its rent — usually within 60 days of activation.
Our abandoned-cart emails don't recover anything.
What we do. We rebuild cart flows with timing windows (1h, 6h, 24h, 3d) + incentive escalation. Typical recovery: 8–14% of abandons.
Our CRM is full of dead contacts.
What we do. Deliverability audit + segmentation cleanup. We remove the dead weight before sending. Inbox placement goes up by 30%+.
Automation deliverables, not “scope of work”.
Specific outputs you can point at when you ask “is this done?” — not vague verbs that leave both sides guessing.

What we build automation with.
Automation promises you’ll never hear from us.
Stock phrases from the industry, crossed out, with what we say instead.
-
“AI personalisation”When the basics aren’t there, AI just speeds the spam.
-
“Send daily to your list”Quality + cadence drive revenue, not volume.
-
“Buy our pre-built flows”Your flows have to match your funnel.
-
“100% automation”Your customers want to hear from a human sometimes.
Automation questions every client asks first.
Which platform should we use?
E-commerce: Klaviyo. B2B: HubSpot. Lean: ActiveCampaign. We’ll recommend based on your stack, not on our affiliate links (we have none).
What if we have no list yet?
We start with capture — pop-ups, landing pages, lead magnets — and build the flows alongside. The flows have something to do from day one.
Is this just email?
No. SMS, web push, and in-app where they exist. We pick the channel by message, not by tooling.
Do you write the copy?
Yes, all flow copy is included. You review and we revise once per flow.
How much does marketing automation cost in NZ?
Setup starts at $2,500 and takes two to six weeks, covering the audit, the core flows and the copy. After that a retainer is optional: some clients keep us on for testing and quarterly flow refreshes, others run the flows themselves.
What should we automate first?
The welcome flow for new subscribers, then abandoned cart or abandoned enquiry, then post-purchase or post-job follow-up with a review request. Those three usually cover most of the revenue automation will ever make; everything else is refinement.
Do you manage Klaviyo or HubSpot for businesses outside Christchurch?
Yes. We work with businesses across New Zealand, including Auckland and Wellington, over video calls, Slack or email.
How does automation connect to our website?
Through the forms, pop-ups, checkout and booking steps on your site. We wire those into the platform so every sign-up, enquiry or order triggers the right flow, and we can do it at build time if we are also making your website.
