Small business websites · New Zealand

Websites for NZ small businesses, from $2,000 and owned by you.

We design and build websites for small businesses across New Zealand: salons, cafés, trades, laundries and local services. There are no fixed packages. Every site is quoted from $2,000 on the pages and features you need, and most go live in 2–6 weeks.

Do you offer small business website packages?.

No. We don’t sell fixed packages. Every small business website is quoted from $2,000 on the pages and features you need, and the price is fixed once we agree the scope.

More detail

A 1–5 page site for a trade, salon or café usually sits at the lower end. Online bookings, a menu, a shop or a CRM connection add to the quote, and we tell you what each one costs before you decide. You pay 50% when we start and 50% after launch. Bánh Mì King in Auckland is a typical example: a fast menu site that, with our local SEO, reached first in the Google map pack for “banh mi auckland”.

What is included in a small business website?.

Design, build, a mobile layout, SEO basics, a contact form that reaches your inbox and 30 days of support after launch.

More detail

Every page gets a proper title and description, loads fast on phones and is set up in Google Analytics, so you can see where enquiries come from. You can change prices, photos and opening hours yourself, and you own the domain, the site and every login from day one. Hosting and maintenance are optional, from $39 a month. ProfessioNAIL, a Christchurch nail salon group, was #2 on Google for “the palms nail” 2 weeks after launch.

What’s hurting

Small business website problems we fix.

Three patterns we see in nearly every small business website engagement — and what we actually do about them.

We can’t afford an agency, and a cheap builder site looks cheap.

What we do. Sites start at $2,000 with a custom design on a proven structure. It looks like your business, not a template, without agency overheads.

I don’t have time to run a website project.

What we do. We scope, design and build your site. You fill in a short brief, approve the design, and we handle the rest, including help with the words.

Our Facebook page gets likes, not enquiries.

What we do. Your own site can rank for people who don’t know your name yet and takes enquiries after hours, straight to your inbox.

What you get

Small business website deliverables, not “scope of work”.

Specific outputs you can point at when you ask “is this done?” — not vague verbs that leave both sides guessing.

The promises

Small business website promises you’ll never hear from us.

Industry stock phrases we cross out — and what we actually say instead.

  • “A website in a weekend for $499” — a site that wins work takes a few weeks.
  • “Unlimited revisions” — you approve the design first, so you rarely need many.
  • “We own the site, you rent it” — you own the domain, the code and every login.
  • “Compulsory monthly plan” — hosting with us is optional. Take the site anywhere.
Questions

Small business website questions every client asks first.

How much does a small business website cost in NZ?

Ours start at $2,000. Most small business sites land between $2,000 and $4,000, depending on the number of pages and features like bookings or a shop. There are no fixed packages: you get one quote for your site, and the price is fixed once we agree the scope. Our website cost guide covers the wider NZ market.

How long does a small business website take?

Most go live in 2–6 weeks. A simple 1–5 page site can be ready in 2–3 weeks.

Do you work outside Christchurch?

Yes. We are based in Addington, Christchurch, and build for small businesses across New Zealand over video calls. Clients include Bánh Mì King and EasyLife in Auckland.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. We set you up to change text, prices, photos and opening hours yourself, and show you how before we hand over.

How do payments work?

50% when we start and 50% after launch. Your price is fixed once we agree the scope, so the second invoice is no surprise. Anything you ask for outside the scope is quoted before we do it.

Do I have to pay for hosting?

Every website needs hosting. You can host it yourself, or we look after it from $39 a month with updates, backups and a person to call. Either way, you own the site.
